In addition, the following specific goals will be pursued:

• Reduce the Levelised Cost of Energy (LCoE) of wind energy, by improving critical wind turbine components and systems developed by Basque suppliers.
• Facilitate the access of Basque companies to advanced equipment, providing them with a competitive advantage in the global competition and with a differential positioning and credibility before OEMs.
• Increase the validation process value: operating conditions very close to reality (loads, temperature, humidity, vibrations), validation by the centre as an independent body and not by the actual supplier, validation of more complete systems (several integrated systems and from various suppliers) and not isolated systems.
• Widen the market scope: component tests for all types of machines, but oriented towards strategic positioning as suppliers of new large machines (6-8 MW, on-shore and off-shore).
• Improve the potential and development capability of Basque suppliers and positioning the Basque Country in this sector.
