More than 40 member companies attended the informative webinar held on 13 May to learn first-hand about the features of the platform provided by the Basque Energy Cluster to support them in the search for candidates for their job offers.
Jose Ignacio Hormaeche, Managing Director of the Basque Energy Cluster, began the session by framing the creation of the Pool within the Cluster’s Talent value proposition. He also explained how it is integrated into the Cluster’s various strategic lines and reinforces the activities developed in each line.
Afterwards, Jon Fernandez, Head of Projects of the Basque Energy Cluster, described how the Pool works and explained to the member companies how they can now use it to search and filter the profiles that best fit each job offer, allowing them to contact candidates directly to invite them to the selection processes.
After designing and configuring the Pool, the Basque Energy Cluster has already begun to promote it at various local and international talent attraction events, where it has also provided students and professionals with an overview of the Basque energy sector and the opportunities it offers, inviting those who wish to join it to register in the Talent Pool.
The Pool currently has more than 1,200 registered candidates and going forward, the Basque Energy Cluster will continue to develop actions to attract talent to the energy sector.
