OVERALL AIM

Support the development of a specic euroregional offer concerning marine renewable energies that will allow enterprises and entities of both territories, ALPC and Euskadi, to position themselves as an international reference in this emerging sector, maximizing the visibility of port infrastructures and technology validation platforms, and fomenting the image of the Aquitania-Euskadi Euroregion as a technological and industrial activity pole in marine energies.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

The realisation of a publication/report that integrates the MRE euroregional offer, which will include:

• An energy potential study of the ALPC-Euskadi euroregional coast, concerning wave, wind and tidal resources.
• A detailed value chain comprised of relevant sector enterprises and scientic and technological actors.
• The denition of port infrastructures’ and testing and validation facilities’ offer and the presentation of the sector’s euroregional support agencies.
• A publication on the euroregional MRE offer, particularly focused on wave energy.
