The BIDERATU project has an advisory committee made up of public bodies, associations and businesses, coordinated by the BASQUE ENERGY CLUSTER with support from ACLIMA.

The following are participants on the BIDERATU advisory committee:

Bringing the technology developed by the BIDERATU project to the industrial sectors and institutions which are the potential beneficiaries of the knowledge created is key to aligning project developments with needs and expectations.

Thus, the primary objectives of the BIDERATU advisory committee are:

• > To corroborate the specifications and progress of the project and gather feedback from the parties involved.
• > To gather inputs for the prioritisation of the industrial processes to be modelled.

As the transversal body supporting the development of the project, the Advisory Committee contributes to certain BIDERATU activities, such as collating data for modelling purposes (characterisation of the baseline year, expected developments in industrial subsectors, etc.), and defining regional energy transition scenarios (technological progress, proposed measures and strategies, etc.).

The Advisory Committee performs its advisory functions via the following mechanisms:

• > Reading and commenting on reports issued by BIDERATU project partners and sent to the Committee.
• > Attending regular meetings at which the advances and progress of the BIDERATU project are presented and which generate participative dynamics with open contributions and exchange of opinions between attendees.
