WINDBOX provides fully equipped testing facilities to support the development of products with optimal design and high reliability as well as the consolidation of design and manufacturing processes.

For test benches are proposed, which will simulate the operating conditions of a wind turbine very accurately and allow the following elements to be tested at component and system level:

• Pitch system: it changes the blade orientation to maximise energy generation, minimise loads and ensure integrity and safety.
• Generator slip ring.
• Blade bearings (including hub and their connections): they allow the rotation/orientation of the blade on its axis and transmit loads to the rest of the structure.
• Yaw system: it changes the orientation of the nacelle according the wind direction.
